Mallacoota has a population of approximately 1200. Mallacoota is a village surrounded by water with some of the most spectacular views available. Mallacoota was first settled in the 1830's when Ben Boyd and the Imlay Brothers who were whaling along the coast from Southern NSW to Northern Victoria, established the Mallacoota Inlet as their major station south of Twofold Bay.
Mallacoota is a true all year-round destination with Victoria's warmest winter temperatures and cooling ocean breezes in the summer.
The magnificent Croajingolong National Park abounds the township of Mallacoota - the most amazing place imaginable.
